The protection and renovation program of the ChineseBaroque historic block is based on the idea of cultural ecology and organic renewal and is carried out from the aspects of physical and cultural form, culture and social economy, and cultural value and society. On the premise of protecting the historic block, urban context is stretched, district vigor is enhanced and new culture integrated with era background is created, so as to explore the way of sustainable development suitable for historic block and to realize the comprehensive rehabilitation of historic block for the inheritance of historic culture.
