基于电子纸屏幕文档版面重构设计与实现

         

摘要

随着电子纸技术、无线网络以及嵌入式等技术的快速发展,移动阅读已悄然兴起.而以电子纸为显示媒介的电子阅读器则备受青睐,市场上相关的嵌入式产品也越来越多.作为其核心之一的格式解析引擎在开发过程中会遇到不少问题.例如:文档格式标准众多,GUI平台差异较大,电子纸刷新速度较慢,等等.提出一种利用中间格式版面重构的方法,设计多格式解析引擎,并详细介绍了在版面重构过程中的一些关键性问题.该系统利用虚拟打印技术,做到了设备无关,以页为基本单位适应电子纸显示特点,支持多国语言的文字排版,支持表格、图形等多种元素,支持文档的缩放、旋转等.经在某商业公司的实验平台验证,该方案具有一定可行性.%With the rapid developments in electronic paper technology, wireless networks and embedded technologies, the mobile reading has been in rise quietly. The electronic reader with electronic paper as the display media is much welcomed, and there are more and more embedding-related products in the market. The format analysing engine, one of the kernel components, will encounter many problems during its development process. For example: existing document formats have different technical standards, GUI platforms differ from each other and the refreshing speed of electronic paper is not fast, etc. The paper proposes a new method to design the analysing engine for multiple formats using intermediate format for layout reconstruction, and gives a detailed explanation on some of the key issues in layout reconstruction. The system adopts virtual printing technology, so that it becomes device-independent, it uses the page as its basic unit to accommodate the display characteristics of the electronic paper, and offers support for the layout of multiple language text, tables, graphics and other elements, as well as the document rescaling (zoom) , rotation, and so on. This scheme has been validated the feasibility to certain extent on the experimental platform of a commercial company.
