With the rapid growth of network data, the requirement of image retrieval is becoming higher and higher. This paper introduces the text-based image retrieval system and content-based image retrieval system, and puts forward a retrieval system based on image content and its implementation method. The system uses image color, texture and edge as feature information, and applies these features to retrieval after processing. This system is more accurate and more efficient than text-based retrieval system.%随着网络数据的极速增长, 图像检索的要求越来越高.本文分别介绍了基于文本和基于内容的图像检索系统, 并提出了一种基于图像内容的检索系统及实现方法.系统采用图像颜色、纹理以及边缘等作为特征信息, 将这些特征经过处理后应用于检索.该检索系统精确度高, 较基于文本的检索提高了工作效率.
