The chemical cleaning technique for ultra-supercritical boiler of a 1000MW unit in Datang Chaozhou Power plant was introduced. During the chemical cleaning, hydrogen peroxide was used for alkaline washing, and EDTA ammonium salt was used for cleaning and passivation. The corrosion rate and corrosion amount after pickling met the requirement of DL/T 794-2001.
