The basic principle and advantages of microwave sintering were introduced. The current situation of rnpreparation for polycrystalline diamond compacts ( PDC ) were simply generalized. Several problems were rnanalyzed and discussed including the microwave sintering behaviors of ceramic materials, WC-Co and diamond rnsintered compact.
