In the research, zebrafish, guppy, and Xiphophorus helleri were used as test fishes to study the acute toxicity of four highly toxic substances benzene, chlorobenzene, phenol, and p-chlorophenol on them through semi static toxicity test. The results indicated that 96 h LC50 of the above chemicals toward zebrafish were 132.22, 28.86, 9.66, and 4.29 mg/L, toward Xiphophorus helleri were 123.76, 27.25, 8.86, 4.29 mg/L, and toward guppy were 131.25, 7.88, 9.33, 4.59 mg/L respectively. The toxicity sequence for the studied chemicals is benzenehenol展开▼
