高职教育与经济增长--基于中国的经验证据:2004-2013

         

摘要

Based on the national education statistics data (2004-2013), using the analyses of co-integrating and VECM, and the Granger causality, this paper makes a comparative study on vocational college and economic growth, industrial development, and the long-term, short-term development and causality of the tertiary industry. The result shows that there is an obvious causality between vocational college education investment and employment scale and industry growth. However, the bi-directional causality is not that obvious with the whole economic growth and the development of the tertiary industry, while they show a positive stimulate on the investment of vocational college education, but vocational college education shows a employment distortion on the development of industry and the tertiary industry. This paper offers convincing empirical evidence for expanding the investment and the scale of vocational education, enriching the educational types, thus especially fostering the industrial development.%基于教育统计数据,沿用 Uzawa 的分析框架,采用协整分析、VECM 分析和 Granger 因果检验等方法,本文对我国高职教育投入与经济增长进行因果检验,研究发现,高职教育投入及就业规模,与工业发展存在显著双向因果关系;与整体经济增长、第三产业发展双向因果关系不显著,但经济增长和第三产业发展对于高职教育投入存在正向激励,高职教育对工业发展与第三产业发展存在就业偏向。这为当前阶段增加高职教育投入、扩大高职教育规模、丰富教育类型并以此促进产业发展,尤其促进工业发展的观点提供了实证依据。
