教育投入与经济绩效--基于京沪粤的区域比较

         

摘要

基于北京、上海和广东三地的面板数据,本文采用修正的新古典经济增长模型,在协整基础上运用Granger因果检验、ECM模型及脉冲响应等方法进行教育投入与经济增长绩效长、短期关系的区域比较,发现北京教育投入对经济增长绩效统计不显著,上海、广东教育投入与经济增长均存在双向Granger因果关系,而广东教育投入对经济增长具有持续显著的高正向激励。本研究的现实意义是:资源高聚集区域的教育投入适度转移,能提高教育投入对经济增长贡献;教育发展程度较低区域的教育投入具有更显著、正向和持久的增长驱动力。%Based on panel data (1996-2012) of Beijing,Shanghai and Guangdong, the author uses a modified neoclassical economic growth model to undertake the regional comparisons of the short-term and long-term relationship between educational investment and economic growth performance,and on the basis of co-integrating, techniques of Granger causality,ECM model and pulse-response analysis are also employed. The research, finds mutual Granger causality between educational investment and economic growth in Shanghai and Guangdong, but unilateral Granger causality in Beijing, interpreting educational investment as a more robust facilitating factor to regional economic growth. Besides, educational investment has continuously significant and positive incentive toward economic growth. This paper indicates that appropriate transfer of educational investment in resource-intensive region can promote the effect of educational investment on economic growth, and educational investment has more outstanding, positive and enduring growth drives in region that development degree of education is not high.
