GB 50007-2002 of China, and submitted to India local consultant engineers for approval. Aim at the problem questioned by consultant engineers that sliding stability of electrostatic precipitator foundations don't meet the requirement of Indian code, the sliding stability is checked under wind working case and seismic working case with Chinese code and Indian code respectively, and the formula of American code is also quoted to testify. Based on comparison and analysis, the foundations which are designed as per Chinese code can fulfill the requirement of India code. Finally Indian consultant engineers accept and approve the foundations designed by Chinese engineer, the approved procedure can be used for reference in other projects of India and other countries.
