Under the influence of waring coal price and the price corntraclietion between the higher cnal price and the lower on-grid power price, blending coal is widely adopted by themial power plants to reduce the cost of generation.Firing the power coal of low calorific vulue can help the plants to nchieve unit price drop of the comprehensive standard coal, thereby to improve the profitability of power generation projects. This paper aims to study the impacts of the two main parameters of power coal qunlity. I.e.. The calorifie vitluc and the snlfur content value, on the cost of elrclricity generation. Based on the research on the two pararneters.
