基于SOPC的I2C协议分析仪设计

         

摘要

文章分析了I2C总线的数据传输机制,探索了基于SOPC的I2C总线协议分析平台设计方法,简述了SOPC技术的原理及其具有的灵活高效,设计周期短和设计成本低等优点。利用XILINX提供的Microblaze处理器软核搭建了系统整体框架,设计实现了I2C总线协议功能的IP核并在modelsim中对其进行了功能仿真。自定义IP核通过设计向导实现与OPB总线的兼容,作为外设挂接在处理器上。仿真和验证结果表明,系统很好地实现了I2C总线的功能并能够运用在其他设计中以测试I2C总线的传输特性。%This paper analyzes the data transfer mechanism of I2C bus and explores a method of I2C protocol analyzer design based on the SOPC technology. The SOPC technology's principles and advantages such as flexible, short design cycle, low design costs and so on is outlined Microblaze soft-core processor provided by XILINX is applied to build the whole system. IP core implementing I2C protocol functions is designed and the functional simulation is done with modelsim tools. The user-defined IP core keeps compatible with the OPB bus through the use of the design wizard and is attached to the processor as a peripheral. The verification results show that the system implements the I2C bus functions well and can be used in other applications to test the I2C bus features.
