In 2017, natural gas consumption grew more than expected, production obviously rebounded, import volume increased rapidly, and the shortage of natural gas supply in winter was highlighted. The overall plan for the oil and gas system reform has been introduced, the natural gas price reform has been accelerated, the gas price regulatory framework has been completed, and the natural gas trading center has played a more important role. Looking forward to 2018, with the dual stimulus of high economy growth rate and environmental policies, natural gas demand is expected to grow rapidly.
