Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of puerarin injection in treatment of vertebrobasilar insufficiency vertigo.METHODS: 86 patients with vertebrobasilar insufficiency vertigo admitted into the department of neurosurgery of Nanyang the Ninth People's Hospital were extracted and divided into observation group and control group via the random number table,with 43 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Flunarizine hydrochloride capsule orally,while,on the basis of the control group,the patients in the observation group were given intravenous drip of Puerarin Injection,both were treated for 2 weeks.The clinical efficacy and changes of blood flow velocities of LVA,RVA,BA of two groups were observed and compared.RESULTS: The total effective rate of observation group(93.02％,40/43)was significantly higher than that of the control group(79.07％,34/43),with statistically significant difference(P0.05).After treatment,the blood flow velocities of LVA,RVA and BA of observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group,with statistically significant difference(P0.05);治疗后,观察组患者LVA、RVA、BA血流速度明显高于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05);两组患者均未发生明显不良反应.结论:葛根素注射液是治疗椎-基底动脉供血不足性眩晕的有效药物,可改善患者脑部血液循环.
