In view of the characteristics that the Signal and System course is of strong theory and abstract content ,the Matlab and LabVIEW softwares are used to assist the teaching of such course .By taking the practical application of the common signal waveform ,convolution integral ,square wave decomposition and synthesis ,speech signal frequency spectrum analysis ,etc .,as an example ,the effect of teaching practice shows that the introduction of the two softwares can fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the students' autonomous learning ,and this kind of the auxiliary teaching means can break through the restriction of the hardwares and functions of the components ,instruments ,meters ,etc .,in the laboratory so that the course experiment is not limited by time and space .%针对信号与系统课程理论性强、内容抽象的特点,借助Matlab和LabVIEW软件辅助该课程的教学,以常见信号的波形、卷积积分、方波分解与合成、语音信号频谱分析等实际应用为例.教学实践说明这两款软件的引入,可以充分调动学生自主学习的积极性,这种辅助教学手段能够突破实验室在元器件、仪器仪表等硬件及功能上的限制,使得课程实验不受时间和空间的制约.
