An effective experimental teaching mode for the students of engineering major in College of Life Science and Technology of HUST is set up through many years of our experience on molecular biology experimental teaching based on the characteristic of students’ major .Very Good teaching results are obtained by starting with developing students’ interest ,using multimedia teaching ,working in small groups under the help of the student teaching assistant ,etc .%总结了一套适于工科专业学生生物科学相关实验课的实验教学模式。根据学生专业特点安排实验内容，既要通过实验课的学习巩固理论知识，又要培养学生掌握生物科学的基本实验技能，同时通过一些连贯性和研究性的实验内容，引导学生的学习兴趣。在实验内容的安排上注重发挥学生的专业特长，为学生发展提供良好的平台。通过一系列的教学方式改革，实验课教学取得了比较好的教学效果。
