Rubber - plastic compound diaphragms were important parts for diaphragm pump. The structure and technical requirements of diaphragms were introduced. Surface activation of rubber and polytetrafluoroethylene film, processing technology of fabric, manufacturing process of rubber - plastic compound diaphragm were also introduced. The folded phenomenon of diaphragm in production process was analyzed.
