The effect of buckwheat hull flavonoids (BHF)on serum lipid metabolism and oxidative stress in high-sugar, high-fat diet and STZ-induced NIDDM rats were studied. The diabetic rats were randomly assigned to six groups, including normal control group, model group, BHF-treated groups (low-, medium-, high-dos-es,)and a metformin-treated group. The BHF were administered intragastrically for 28 d. The effect of BHF on total cholesterol(TC), triglycerides(TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C), high-density lipopro-tein cholesterol(HDL-C), superoxide dismutase(SOD), Glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px), catalase(CAT) and malonaldehyde (MDA)were investigated. BHF can decrease serum TC, TG, LDL-C, while increasing the concentration of HDL-C;BHF can increase the activity of SOD,GSH-Px,CAT, while reducing the content of MDA. The results suggested that BHF can improve the serum lipid metabolism and oxidative stress disorder in NIDDM rats obviously.%研究荞麦壳黄酮(BHF)对Ⅱ型糖尿病大鼠血脂代谢及氧化应激的影响,采用高糖高脂膳食联合小剂量链脲佐菌素(STZ)诱导Ⅱ型糖尿病大鼠模型,将建模成功的大鼠随机分为正常组、模型组、低剂量组(LBHF,50 mg/kg)、中剂量组(MBHF,100 mg/kg)、高剂量组(HBHF,200 mg/kg)、阳性对照组(盐酸二甲双胍,100 mg/kg)。连续灌胃28 d。测定大鼠血清中总胆固醇(TC)、甘油三酯(TG)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇(HDL-C)及血清中超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)、谷胱甘肽过氧化酶(GSH-Px)、过氧化氢酶(CAT)、丙二醛(MDA)等指标。结果表明荞麦壳黄酮可降低Ⅱ型糖尿病大鼠血清TC、TG和LDL-C浓度,增加HDL-C浓度,提高SOD、GSH-Px、CAT等抗氧化酶活性,减少MDA生成。因此,荞麦壳黄酮化合物在改善Ⅱ型糖尿病的血脂代谢产物过度蓄积和氧化应激紊乱方面具有较为明显的作用。
