The progresses related with the squalene on sources and natural distribution , biological activity and application, and comparison of preparation method were summarized in this paper. The prospects of squalene production from the oil -producing plants and microorganisms resources were generalized.The genetic engineering and artificial synthesis method to obtain squalene will be the new research direction.%简述了角鲨烯生物活性及其应用、来源和自然分布,比较了不同来源角鲨烯的传统制备方法;介绍了通过新型产油植物和微生物进行角鲨烯生产;提出利用基因工程和人工合成获取角鲨烯的方法;展望角鲨烯未来研究方向与应用.
