生物经济是建立在生物资源、生物技术基础之上, 以生物技术产品、服务的生产、流通、使用为基础的经济, 是继农业经济、工业经济、信息经济之后的第四次产业革命浪潮, 正在成为继信息经济之后新的经济增长点, 生物产业正在成为许多国家的支柱产业.通过连续20多年对新科技革命、生物经济的跟踪研究, 以及对全球29个国家和地区生物经济与生物技术发展的综合比较研究, 结果表明生物技术引领、多项技术共同推动的新科技革命正在加速形成, 已经呈现出前所未有的新趋势和新特征.%Bio-economy is built based on biological resources and biotechnology, including the production, circulation and use of bio-technology products and services. Bio-economy is the fourth wave of industrial revolution after the agricultural economy, industrial econ-omy and information economy, and is becoming the new economic growth point. Biotechnology industry is a pillar industry in many countries. The paper is based on the follow-up study to new revolution of science and technology and biological economy for 20 years con-secutively, combining with the comparative study to bio-economy and biotechnology development in 29 countries and regions world-wide. Results shows that biotechnology is playing a leading role in the formation of new revolution of science and technology, and nu-merous technologies is accelerating it. The development of bio-economy has been showing a new and unprecedented trends and features.
