In this paper, the authors report the geochemical prospecting results around the margins of the Zankan iron deposit and dis-cussed the relationship between elements as well as their coupling with the regional geology. Studies reveal that the geochemical anomalies are obviously constrained by the Taaxi-Sekebulake fault, the lithology of Devonian strata and the igneous activities. Ac-cording to the features of the geochemical anomalies, in combination with regional geology, the authors delineated four ore prospect-ing areas, i.e., the Zanger Pb-Ag-W prospective area, the Xinuo W-Sn polymetallic prospective area, the Gaijiake Cr-Ni-Cu pros-pecting area, and the Halishali Au polymetallic prospective area.
