The paper selected MODIS13Q1 data products of twelve months in 2012, and extracted vegetation indices about 7 cities in southwest Sichuan.I analyzed the regularity of the vegetation indices month by month, and excogitated the temporal and spatial varia-tion of vegetation indices.Meanwhile I calculated the average of the temperature and precipitation, and then selected polynomial equa-tion to simulate the correlation between the vegetation indices and climate factors.%以2012年1～12月的MODIS 13Q1数据产品为基础，提取四川西南地区7市植被指数进行相关分析。基于各月植被指数，采用对比分析法，研究植被指数时空变化规律。同时，结合研究区内2012年月降水量和气温月平均值，选择多项式拟合法，对EVI，NDVI月平均值进行相关性分析，研究植被指数与气候因子的相关性。
