Some conclusions are obtained by analyzing and comparing real-time differenti-al positioning mode and differential mode of portable GPS positioning precision taking the ex-perimental areas in Henan Polytechnic University as examples .Effect factors of GPS positio-ning accuracy are also analyzed including surrounding environment and the observation time . It is very significant that the above factors improve efficiency and precision of GPS through the experiment .%以河南理工大学校区为试验区，运用天宝Geoxt手持机，分别对手持式GPS实时差分定位模式和事后差分模式定位精度进行分析比较，并得出结论，同时对周边环境和观测时长对定位精度的影响也进行了相关的分析。试验结论表明以上因素对手持G PS提高作业效率及定位精度是非常有意义的。
