Specialized English and Writing are very important course for undergraduates in chemical engineering and technology in China Three Gorges University. In this paper, based on the undergraduates of chemical engineering and Technology, combining the syllabus, we discussed the learning situation and the demand on the course of writing, to adjust the teaching syllabus, the teaching contents and teaching methods.%专业英语与论文写作是三峡大学材料与化工学院化学工程与工艺专业本科生的一门非常重要的专业选修课,课程注重学生英语实际运用能力的培养.本文基于现有三峡大学化学工程与工艺专业的教学大纲进行分析,本科生的专业英语与论文写作的需求和学生的学习现状,对教学大纲进行调整,同时对教学内容和教学方法进行探索.
