The Chinese definition and classification of standard materials were described. The application of stalldard materials in environmental monitoring QC system was discussed. It needs to be paid attention to the management and use of standard materials. Some proposals were present for the research and development of environmental standard material in future according to current situation of the environmental monitoring.%介绍了我国标准物质的定义、分类,论述了标准物质在环境监测质量控制体系中的应用,探讨了如何做好环境标准物质的管理及标准物质使用过程中需要注意的问题,并根据当前工作实际对今后环境标准物质的生产及研发提出了建议.
