Objective To probe into the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of chronic diseases of otorhinolaryngology .Methods 90 patients who suffered from the chronic rhinitis and accepted treatments in our hospital from January 2013 to February 2014 were taken as the research objects , and all the patients were treated with Chinese medicine , that is to take the Chinese medicine Yupingfeng powder and acupuncture and moxibustion treatment .Result The cured, markedly effective , effective and ineffective of Chinese medicine in the treatment of chronic simple rhinitis was 34 ( 59.65%) , 12 ( 21.05%) , 9 ( 15.79%) and 2 ( 3.51%) , respectively.The total effective rate was 96.49% (55 cases).In addition, the cured, markedly effective, effective and ineffective of Chinese medicine in the treatment of chronic hypertrophic rhinitis was 17 ( 51.52%) , 8 ( 24.24%) , 7 ( 21.21%) , 1 ( 3.03%) , respectively, and the total effective rate was 96.67%(32 cases).The total effective rate of the two groups had no significant difference (X2=0.0364, P<0.05).Conclusion The traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of chronic rhinitis has significantly clinical effect , and is worthy of clinical application .%目的：探讨耳鼻咽喉科慢性疾病采取中医治疗的优势。方法选择2013年1月—2014年2月来院治疗的90例慢性鼻炎患者作为研究对象，所有患者均给予中医治疗，即采取中药玉屏风散加减内服加针灸治疗。结果中医治疗慢性单纯性鼻炎的痊愈、显效、有效、无效分别为34例（59．65％）、12例（21．05％）、9例（15．79％）、2例（3．51％），总有效率为55例（96．49％）；慢性肥厚性鼻炎痊愈、显效、有效、无效分别为17例（51．52％）、8例（24．24例）、7例（21．21％）、1例（3．03％），总有效率为32例（96．67％）。两组病例的总有效率比较差异不显著（χ2＝0．0364，P＜0．05）。结论慢性鼻炎患者采取中医治疗的临床疗效显著，值得临床推广应用。
