Objective To observe and analyze the clinical effects of antelope horn decoction in the treatment of pyogenic tonsillitis in children.Methods 80 patients with the pyogenic tonsillitis who accepted treatments in our hospital were taken as research objects , and these patients were randomly divided into the control group and the study group , with 40 patients in each group .In the control group , they were given conventional Western medicine treatment .In the study group , on the basis of the control group , they were treated with the antelope horn decoction .Then, the clinical effect of these two groups of patients were observed and compared .Result The total effective rate of the observation group was evidently higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion The antelope horn decoction can evidently improve the clinical effect of pyogenic tonsillitis in children , and is worthy of clinical application .%目的：观察和分析对化脓性扁桃体炎患儿采用羚羊角汤进行治疗的临床效果。方法收集我院接诊的患化脓性扁桃体炎的80例患者进行研究，以随机分组法将其分成对照组40例与研究组40例。对照组患儿给予常规西医治疗，研究组患儿则在常规西医治疗的基础上给予羚羊角汤联合治疗。观察及比较两组患儿的临床疗效。结果研究组患者治疗的总有效率显著高于对照组（ P＜0．05）。结论羚羊角汤能够有效提高化脓性扁桃体炎患儿的临床疗效，值得临床推广应用。
