Facing the increasing complexity of the situation of the safety production, the compound talents for safety occupation with speciality and capability should be trained. Based on the current situation and the development orientation of safety engineering major of Changshu Institute of Technology, the practice teaching system based on the four levels was constructed. The four levels were the basic practice, the professional practice, the comprehensive practice and the innovative practice.
