Objective To evaluate the efficacy of metformin hydrochloride combined with glimepiride in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Methods 50 cases of type 2 diabetes patients whose blood glucose were not controlled well took metformin hydrochloride and glimepiride for 3 months. Levels of FBG, 2-hour PBG, HbA1c, SCr, BUN, ALT, AST before and after treatment and the adverse reactions were monitored and compared. Results Comparing the results after treatment with those before treatment, there were significant decreases in FBG, 2-hourPBG, HbA1c, (P<0.05) and no obvious changes in liver and renal function, less incidence of hypoglycemia. Conclusion Metformin hydrochloride combined with Glimepiride has significant effect and good security with less incidence of hypoglycemia for type 2 diabetes.%目的：评价盐酸二甲双胍联合格列美脲（亚莫利）治疗2型糖尿病的临床效果。方法挑选50例2型糖尿病患者，给予盐酸二甲双胍联合格列美脲（亚莫利）口服，比较治疗前后患者空腹血糖（FBG）、餐后2 h 血糖（2hPG）、糖化血红蛋白（HbA1c）、丙氨酸转氨酶（ALT）、天冬氨酸转氨酶（AST）、肌酐（Scr）、尿素氮（BUN）水平。结果治疗3个月后，FBG、2hPG、HbA1c 水平均较治疗前明显下降，差异均有统计学意义（P<0.05），肝肾功无明显变化，低血糖发生率低。结论盐酸二甲双胍联合格列美脲治疗2型糖尿病疗效明显，低血糖发生率低，安全性好。
