To evaluate the water stability of different types of asphalt mixture effectively,this pa-per adopts three kinds of test methods,including the conventional water stability test,immersion rutting test and Hamburg rutting test,to evaluate the water stability of five kinds asphalt mixtures through differ-ent evaluation index.The test results show that the modified asphalt can improve the anti water damage a-bility of asphalt mixture;The comparative analysis of this three test methods shows that the conventional water stability test and the immersion rutting test cannot distinguish the good or bad of different kinds of asphalt mixture quality;The evaluation results are influenced greatly by the selected evaluation index;Hamburg rutting test can evaluate water stability of different types of asphalt mixture effectively.%为了有效评价不同类型沥青混合料的水稳定性，选用常规水稳定性试验、浸水车辙试验、汉堡车辙试验3种试验方法分别对5种沥青混合料下进行水稳定性试验，并采用不同的评价指标对沥青混合料水稳定进行评价。结果表明，改性沥青能很好的改善沥青混合料的抗水损坏能力；通过对比分析常规水稳定性试验和浸水车辙试验并不能很好的区分不同类型沥青混合料水稳定性的优劣，受选取评价的指标影响较大；汉堡车辙试验方法能够有效的评价不同类型沥青混合料水稳性。
