Objectives The aim of this study was to determine the application of tracer methodology in quality control , find out the problems and improve the medical quality control .Methods A tracing scheme was designed based on the essential elements of tracer methodology , and the drugs management , infection control , pa-tient safety and medical quality , as well as facilities management and security system were trace .Results and Con-clusion According to the tracing program , the personnel , institution and hardware were the main impetuses of continuous quality improvement in our hospital .%目的：探讨追踪方法学在医疗环节质量控制中的应用，发现医疗环节质量控制存在的问题，并及时加以改进。方法根据环节质量控制的基本要素设计追踪方案，在药品管理、感染控制、患者安全与医疗质量、设施管理和安全系统四个方面进行追踪。结果与结论通过追踪发现，构成环节质量的人员、制度、硬件是医院质量持续改进的主要着力点。
