On the background of new countryside construction, land consolidation emphasized more on the function of promoting countryside developing. Aimed at promoting the development of agriculture and countryside, improving famers' living standards, making better living and farming conditions, providing better appearance of the villages, and advancing new countryside construction, a comprehensive benefit evaluation index system of land consolidation was established. Based on the relation between land consolidation and new countryside construction, the indicators were more completed, and the contents of them had more realistic meaning.
