VERIFICATION TEST OF THE PHYSICAL MODEL IN WUHAN FOR THE GEZHOUBA DAM REGION WITH RESPECT TO ITS FIRST STAGE CONSTRUCTION IN OPERATION ── A SUMMARY REPORT

         

摘要

Gezhouba is the first dam built on the main stem of the Yangtze River. After the closure of the river in January 1981. large amount of field data were collected during 1981, 1982 and 1983. This article reports on the verification test performed on the physical model in Wuhan and a comparison of the principal performances between the model and prototype in the light of the field data mentioned above.
