Objective] To research the effects of insemination depth on the arti-ficial insemination of Rex rabbit. [Method] 60 female rex rabbits were ran-domly divided into four groups. The first group was the control group called nat-ural mating group, and the rest were the trial groups being artificial insemination, the insemination depth of which were 5,6,7 cm respectively. [Result] When the insemination depth was 5 cm, the P of conception rate with that of natural mat-ing group was less than 0.05 and the difference was significant. The insemina-tion results were not as effective as that of natural mating. The analysis showed that, may be due to the lack of insemi-nation depth or not through the urinary meatus when the depth of insemination was 5 cm, thus affecting the effects of in-semination, resulting in a lower concep-tion rate; when the insemination depths were 6 cm and 7 cm, the P of conception rate of them with that of natural mating group were lager than 0.05, and the dif-ferences were not significant. The effects of insemination were basically the same as the natural mating. [Conclusion] The optimum insemination depth of the artifi-cial insemination of Rex rabbit was 6~7 cm.%[目的]研究输精深度对獭兔人工授精效果的影响。[方法]选择60只母獭兔，随机分成4组，第1组为对照组，即本交组，其余各组为试验组，进行人工授精，每组的输精深度分别为5、6、7 cm。[结果]当输精深度为5 cm时，受胎率与本交组P0.05，差异不显著，输精效果与本交基本相同。[结论]獭兔人工授精的最佳输精深度为6~7 cm。
