Objective This work was to understand the epidemiological characteristics of new leprosy cases reported in 2006-2015 in Longyan,to provide scientific evidence for the control and elimination of leprosy.Method Using the descriptive epi-demiological method to analyze new leprosy cases reported in 2006 -2015 in Longyan.Results A total of 15 new leprosy cases were reported in Longyan during 2006 -2015.The annual average of discovery rate of new cases was 5.8 per million popula-tion,meanwhile the annual discovery rate fluctuated mildly and the annual disability (>Ⅱ)rate fluctuated wildly between 0%~6.67%.The male to female ratio of new leprosy cases was about 2.75∶1,and most of these people lived in rural areas.About 86.67% new leprosy cases were adult,and 13.33% were teenagers (the age of 10 ~18).Among the two patients,the relation-ship between mother and daughter,and two cases of Yunnan Baoshan area marriage in Longyan area.Conclusion New leprosy cases are reported in some counties (cities)of Longyan Prefecture during 2006 ~2015,and the discovery rate is lower than the average in China.But the risk of transmitting diseases increased with the movement of population.So we need to further increase investment and efforts,and especially to strengthen the prevention and control of leprosy in local ethnic minority areas.By “early detection,early diagnosis,early treatment”,we can eventually reduce the infection and related disability rate,and achieve the goal of effective leprosy control.%目的：了解2006年～2015年福建龙岩地区新发现麻风病例的流行病学特征，为制定麻风病控制和消除措施提供科学依据。方法：用描述流行病学方法对福建龙岩地区2006年～2015年间报告的麻风病疫情资料进行系统分析。结果：2006年～2015年龙岩共发现确诊报告麻风病病例15例，年平均发现率为5.8／10万，各年发病率整体呈平稳波动；Ⅱ级以上畸残率为0％～6.67％；男女发病数比例为2.75∶1；病例身份主要为农民；86.67％的病例是成年人，10～18岁病例占13.33％，其中两例患者为母女关系，两名女性患者均为云南保山地区嫁入龙岩地区；各地区之间的发现报告率有明显差异。结论：福建龙岩地区2006年～2015年间发现报告的麻风病病例集中在个别县（市），平均发病率较低，但有输入病例可能，仍需要加强宣传教育工作，进一步提供麻风防控力度，使麻风病患者得到尽早的诊断及治疗，防治畸残的发生，降低传染机率，达到有效控制麻风病发病率的目的。
