In order to explore the suitability of underground space development in Wuhan City,using rasterize layer method,the Delphi method and weighted summation method from two aspects of geological environment and social economic to evaluate the conditions of Wuhan City underground space.The clustering analysis and visual was conducted on the evaluation results by using ArcGIS9.3 software.The results showed that:In terms of the geological environment,Wuchang and Hanyang is suitable for underground space development ; In terms of social and economic aspects,the demand of the underground space development is radioactive decline from the inner loop to the outer; In terms of the underground space development,the geological environment is the foundation and the social economy is the necessary condition.Finally combined with current situation of typical regional,the orientation of the underground space development was analyzed and suggestions were put forward.%为了探究武汉市地下空间开发的适宜性,运用图层栅格化法、专家打分法和综合分值法,从地质环境和社会经济状况两方面对武汉市主城区地下空间开发进行适宜性评价,使用ArcGIS9.3软件对适宜性评价结果进行聚类分析和图像化.结果表明:地质环境方面,武昌和汉阳较适宜地下空间开发；社会经济方面,地下空间开发的需求由内环线向外呈放射性递减；地下空间开发中,地质环境是基础,社会经济是必要条件.最后结合典型地区的发展现状,分析其地下空间开发的方向,并提出发展建议.
