According to a questionnaire survey of farmers in Macheng City, the new houses in Macheng rural areas in recent 30 years were analyzed. The results showed that, the new houses are built mainly for improving the farmers'living conditions, most of the houses have two or three-stories. The rooms of new houses are not effectively used, the money for building houses is made from working out, and many farmers bear heavy debt for building houses.%以麻城地区为研究区域,利用对农户的问卷调查资料,对该区30年来农村新建住房进行深入分析.结果表明:农户新建房屋主要为改善居住条件,并以二、三层楼房为主；新建房屋房间的实际使用率不高,其资金主要来源于外出务工所得,并且新建房负债情况较为严重.
