Typhoon “Meanti”(1010)is one of the rare offshore strengthened mini-typhoons,featured by heavy impacts,meandering moving route ,small coverage,strong intensity and large difficulty in prediction and prevention.Therefore,the partial characteristics of such typhoon are analyzed in this paper and the discussions of location of the typhoon in pffshore area by Doppler radar are the focus of this paper.%1010号台风"莫兰蒂"属于少见的近海加强的微型台风,其影响程度重、移动路径曲折、范围小、强度强,预报和防御的难度大.为此,针对该台风的部分特点进行了分析,并着重运用多普勒天气雷达对该台风近海时的定位进行了一些探讨.
