[ Objective ] The purpose was to study chlorination of αα-dimethyl benzylalcohol. [ Method ] The chlorination was carried out in different chlorination system to ensure the optimum system of chlorination. [ Result ] In SOCl2-dichloromethane system, when SOCl2 was excess and reaction time waslasting, the satisfactory results would be obtained and the yield would reach 97％. [ Conclusion] SOCI2-dichloromethane system had good chlorinated effectiveness, mild conditions and excellent yield.%[目的]研究α,α-二甲基苄醇的氯代反应.[方法]采用不同的氯代体系进行氯代,确定氯代反应的最佳体系.[结果]在氯化亚砜-二氯甲烷体系中,氯化亚砜过量并延长反应时间,可得到理想的结果,收率为97%.[结论]氯化亚砜-二氯甲烷体系具有良好的氯代效果,反应温和且收率较高.
