Based on the field research of Laiyuan County in Hebei Province, the basic characteristics of poverty-stricken areas were analyzed, in the view of transaction cost theory, causes of poverty in the building of new countryside were analyzed. The results showed that it is the limit of institutional and economic conditions that causes the costs are too high when farmers are participate in market transactions, thus lead to social division of labor can not be effectively achieved, and farmers do not enjoy the fruits of economic development, and on this basis, to explore solutions.%基于对河北省涞源县的实地调研,解析了贫困地区的基本特征,在交易成本理论视野下,分析新农村建设中的贫困成因.研究结果表明,由于制度原因和经济条件的限制导致农户参与市场交易时成本过高,从而导致社会分工不能有效实现,农民享受不到经济发展带来的成果.并在此基础上探索解决对策.
