The experiment indicated the seadlings from the first and second generation of sweet potato variety——Xushu No.18 and Beijing 553 with virus-free can produce 50% and 35%～99.2% higher yield than these without virus free. The seedlings with virus-free must be replaced after 2～3 years' planting.%种植徐薯18和北京553脱毒1、2代苗大、中型种薯商品率及产量比未脱毒的各甘薯品种(对照)提高50%和35%～99.22%，实践证明必须2～3a后更换脱毒种薯(苗)，才能达到持续稳产增产的效果。
