The leaf epidermis of 7 populations representing 4 species of Peliosanthes are investigated under light microscopy . The results show that the form of epidermal cells of 4 Peliosanthes species is rectangle , the anticlinal walls is straightly arched , the stomatal apparatus is anomocytic, the stomatal bands is not obvious.The characters of leaf epidermis in Peliosanthes play an im-portant role inecology and taxonomy , and would contribute to systematics of Peliosanthes .%利用光学显微镜对球子草属4种7居群的叶表皮形态进行观察发现，4种球子草属植物的叶表皮细胞均为长方形，垂周壁为平直弓形，气孔器类型均为无规则型，气孔带不明显。球子草属植物的叶表皮特征具有重要生态学和分类学意义，也为系统学研究提供新的资料。
