Training student’ s ability is very important for science and engineering students .The course of environmental en-gineering is a professional applied course.In the paper, our actions and experiences were introduced by several aspects:student’ s capacity of problems finding and solving is improving based on reformation of teaching method , and the innovation capacity of students is improving based on the student's environmental engineering practice and scientific research .%“环境工程学”课程是环境类专业一门应用性较强的专业课程，本文介绍了我校“环境工程学”课程教学改革的一些举措。通过改进课程教学方法，着力提高学生分析问题、解决问题的能力；通过鼓励学生开展各种形式环境工程实践和科学研究活动，培养学生的创新能力。
