This paper mainly probes into the current situation of sport teams, basic information of athletes, prerequisites of sports team establishment and the present management of sports teams .In order to investigate the development situation of Anhui u-niversity sports teams, seven Anhui university sports teams are chosen for the objects of this study .The finding indicates: firstly, the overall athletics level of Anhui university sports teams is irregular.Secondly, there is serious shortage of student resource for high level sports team.Thirdly, it lags far behind competitive provinces or cities in organization and management .Fourth, there is carelessness in the supervision of talent selection and barely attractiveness for excellent athletes .Fifthly, coaches have lower profes-sional capability as a whole.Sixthly, the stadium facilities can narrowly meet the demand of high level sports team training , howev-er, the channel to get training fund is monotonous and it’s always ubiquitous for shortage of funds.% 为研究现今安徽省高校高水平运动队的发展状况，以安徽省7所高校高水平运动队为研究对象，从办队现状、运动员的基本情况、办队条件和管理现状等四个方面进行调查研究。结果显示：安徽省高校高水平运动队整体竞技水平不高；高水平运动队生源严重匮乏；选材监管工作存在疏漏，在组织和管理方面与先进省市的差距较大。
