It＇s a worthwhile trial of integrating ESP into EGP teaching in order to help students to move smoothly from basic English language study to specialized English learning.This article describes the definitions of EGP and ESP,analyzes the objectives of vocational college English teaching and the practical needs of the students,and puts forward the necessity for the integration of ESP.Meanwhile,based on the research and analysis of the outcomes of the classroom teaching practice,the article illustrates the applicability and significance of the teaching model.%将EGP融入ESP教学是非常有价值的尝试,它旨在帮助学生顺利地完成基础英语学习到专业英语学习的过度。介绍了EGP与ESP的定义,分析了高职英语教学目标和我院毕业生的实际需求,提出融入ESP教学的必要性。同时,依据对课堂教学实践成果的研究与分析,论证了这种教学模式的适用性和重要性。
