单LD双端泵浦Tm:YLF激光器研究

         

摘要

高功率2μm Tm:YLF激光器在环境监测、医疗卫生等民生领域有着重要应用.对单LD双端泵浦Tm:YLF激光器开展了研究.分别对晶体的掺杂浓度和长度对激光输出特性的影响进行分析,优化选取Tm:YLF激光晶体参数,Tm:YLF晶体掺杂原子分子数为3%,尺寸为3mm×3mm×14mm.当输出镜透过率T=10%时,实现15.4W的激光输出,相应的斜率效率和转化效率分别为32.4%和28.57%.激光中心波长为1908.65nm,线宽为0.22nm.在输出功率15W时,沿x、y方向的光束质量分别为M 2x=1.31、M 2y=1.36,近似基模输出.%High power 2μm Tm:YLF laser has important applications in environmental monitoring,health care and other livelihood areas. And then Tm:YLF laser dual-end-pumped by laser-diode(LD) has been carried out. The effects of doping concentration and length of the crystal on the output characteristics of the laser were analyzed. The parameters of Tm:YLF laser crystal were optimized. The Tm:YLF crystal with the dimension of 3mm×3mm×14mm is doped with 3% Tm3+(atomic fraction). When the output mirror tranmittance is 10%,the maximum output power of 15.4W at 1.9μm obtained with 43.35W pumping power. At the same time,the slope efficiency of 32.4% and the optical to optical con-version efficiency of 28.57% are achieved. The free running laser spectrum of Tm:YLF is measured by a spectrometer, the central wavelength is 1908.65nm,the linewidth is 0.22nm. When the output power is 15W,the beam quality factor figures are M 2x=1.31,M 2y=1.36. The output laser is similar to a TEM00 output.
