本文提出了一种基于模板匹配的快速车牌识别方法.该方法运用了数学形态学知识进行车牌的定位,然后采用基于模板匹配的相关函数做相似度测试,完成字符识别.经大量实验证明该方法能有效地完成不同解析度和不同模糊程度的车牌识别工作,而且识别精度高、速度快,能满足实际系统的要求.%In this paper, a fast identification method of number-plate recognition using template is presented. This method uses the mathematical morphological knowledge to complete the license plate location, and then do the test of the relevant function based on template matching. In this way, it can complete character recognition. The experiments show that this method can effectively do different analyzing and different fuzzy degree of license plate identification, and with high accuracy speed. It can also meet the requirements of practical system.
