CR589 is a Chinese cabbage F1 hybrid by crossing two self-incompatible lines 08-5-1 and 07-8-9. The results of the multi-location experiment showed that CR589 was resistant to clubroot, virus disease and soft rot, and its head was in shell-shaped, with the height of 32 cm and the diameter of 18 cm. Its outer leaves were dark green, and the interior leaves were yellow. It possessed high yield, and the average single weight of a head was 2.8 kg.% CR589大白菜是由08-5-1和07-8-9两个自交不亲和系配制而成的杂交一代；2009-2010年进行多点多季节试验，表现为抗根肿病、病毒病和软腐病，球形美观，丰产性好；外叶深绿色，心叶黄，球叶合抱，叶球呈炮弹形，球高32 cm，横径18 cm，单球质量2.8 kg。
