The adsorption of SO2 on powder activated carbon(AC) using fluidized bed reactor was analyzed in the flue gas for flue gas desulphurization. The chemical characters of AC have important influence on the SO2 adsorption capac ity of AC. The C/S molar ratio is the important parameter which impacts the desulphurization efficiency. With the in crease of the C/S molar ratio, the desulphurization efficiency increases rapidly, while the adsorption rate decreases. The experimental date indicates that the adsorption rate of powder AC is higher than that of columnar AC. With the exten ding of the adsorption time, the adsorption capacity and adsorption velocity reduce rapidly. After 12 s, the powder AC no longer adsorbs SO2 from the flue gas. The apparent adsorption kinetic model was used to predict the SO2 adsorption. The adsorption process best follows the Bangham model.%对粉状活性炭在循环流化床内的脱硫特性进行了实验研究,结果表明:活性炭表面化学特性对脱硫性能具有重要影响;C/S摩尔比是影响脱硫率的重要参数,随着C/S摩尔比的增加,脱硫率迅速增加,但其吸附速率迅速下降;粉状活性炭具有较高的吸附速率,但随着吸附时间的延长,活性炭的吸附容量和吸附速率迅速衰减,12S后基本不再具备吸附能力;采用Bangham模型进行拟合.得到的模拟值和实验值吻合良好。
