改性粉煤灰/膨润土混合吸附剂去除水体土霉异味MIB和geosmin研究

         

摘要

A low-cost adsorbent is prepared which is mainly made of fly ash and bentonite according to a cer-tain proportion.The hybrid adsorbent displayed excellent removal effect in the treatment of MIB and geosmin. when the adsorbent concentration is 15 mg/L,pH 8.0,the removal efficiencies of MIB and geosmin are 59. 9% and 63.7% respectively.Whether in one-component solution system or two-component solution system, the adsorption of MIB and geosmin fit well with the Freundlich isotherm model,so as to show that the ad-sorption process is not a monolayer adsorption,but a heterogeneous adsorption system.Effects on the remov-al of earthy-musty odors in water by the adsorbent,permanganate potassium composite (PPC)and power ac-tive carbon (PAC)are compared.The removal efficiency order of three materials is PAC,the adsorbent and PPC.The results show that the adsorbent has more economic advantages than PAC and CCR;and it could substitute or partial substitute PAC in water treatment.%通过硫酸活化膨润土和粉煤灰,并按一定比例制备了一种对具有土霉味的2-甲基异莰醇(2-methylisoborneol,MIB)和二甲基萘烷醇(geosmin)有吸附清除效果的吸附剂,该吸附剂剂量为15 mg/L,pH 8.0时,对MIB和geosmin的吸附率分别为59.9%和63.7%.MIB和 geosmin无论是在单组份溶液体系还是双组份溶液体系都符合 Freundlich 等温吸附模型,表明该吸附过程不是单分子层吸附,而是一个非均相吸附体系.将其与高锰酸钾复合药剂(PPC)、粉末活性炭(PAC)分别去除水体土霉异味的效果进行了比较,结果显示,粉末活性炭的去除效率最高,合成吸附剂次之,高锰酸钾复合药剂去除效率最差.该吸附剂在去除水体土霉异味比单纯使用活性炭相比,其吸附综合效益具有一定优势,可以替代或者部分替代活性炭或者商品吸附剂.
