从发展趋势，研究理论，研究方法，研究类型，研究对象和研究模型角度探讨了学术语篇元话语研究的情况和结果，发现体裁理论和对比修辞为主要的研究理论，定量定性结合的方法为主要研究方法，研究类型以对比研究为主，但是对于文化，学科，体裁等对元话语的影响并没有达成共识，研究对象广但口语语篇研究不足，研究结构多但依旧以总体结构为主，部分结构和句际结构研究不足，研究模型呈现单一模型向多维度模型发展的趋势。%Academic discourse has remained a major research subject of metadiscourse analysis over the last two decades. Narrative review is performed in the paper to select and delineate 33 papers published in 4 SSCI journals from the perspectives of developing trend, research theory, research method, research content, research object and research model. Result manifests that genre theory and contrastive rhetoric are most frequently adopted;a combi nation of quantitative research and qualitative research is widely used;researches focus on contrast study and so far no agreement has been reached as for the influence of culture, discipline and genre. Oral discourse analysis remains a gap to be filled in and overall structure of discourse receives much focus instead of partial structure or inter-sentential structure. Research model shifts from single model to a multi-dimensional one. These gaps, as have been mentioned, give implications to and shed light upon future research.
